2. Ask for a needs assessment<\/h2>\n

Anyone who appears to need care and support can ask their local council for a free needs assessment. It looks at daily tasks, safety and wellbeing, and decides whether the council will help arrange or fund care.<\/p>\n

3. Understand the costs<\/h2>\n
