How Cevero Groups Ltd collects, uses and protects your personal data. Last updated September 2026.
Who we are
This website, cevero.co.uk, is run by Cevero Groups Ltd (“Cevero”, “we”, “us”), together with our divisions Cevero Support Services (cevero.co.uk/care), Cevero Properties Ltd (cevero.co.uk/properties) and the CEVERO Care homecare agency management app. Our headquarters are at 35 Germander Place, Milton Keynes, MK14 7DW. For the purposes of UK data protection law we are the controller of the personal data described in this policy.
Questions about this policy or your data can be sent to info@cevero.co.uk or by phone on 01332 949721.
The information we collect
- Enquiries and requests: your name, email address, phone number, organisation, and anything you tell us when you contact us, book a demo, request a trial, make a referral or book an assessment.
- Job applications: your CV, contact details, work history, right-to-work information and anything else you choose to send us.
- Care and support enquiries: where you tell us about care needs, we may receive health information. This is special category data and we only use it to respond to your enquiry and plan care, with your consent or where the law otherwise allows.
- Website usage: technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, collected by our hosting provider and security tools to keep the site secure and working.
- Live chat: if you use the chat window, the messages you send and basic technical details are processed by our chat provider.
How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiry, arrange a demo or trial, or provide the service you asked for (performance of a contract, or steps before entering one).
- To assess job applications and meet our legal duties as an employer, including right-to-work and DBS checks (legal obligation and legitimate interests).
- To plan and deliver regulated care and support, and to meet the requirements of the Care Quality Commission (legal obligation, and for health data, the provision of health or social care).
- To keep our website and systems secure, prevent spam and fraud, and improve our services (legitimate interests).
- To send you news about our services, only where you have agreed to it. You can unsubscribe at any time (consent).
Who we share it with
We never sell your personal data. We share it only with trusted suppliers who help us run our business, such as our website host, email and IT providers, live chat provider and professional advisers, and with regulators, local authorities, the NHS or the police where the law requires or allows it. Our suppliers may only use your data on our instructions and must keep it secure.
International transfers
Some of our suppliers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for up to two years, unsuccessful job applications for six months, and records about employees and people we support for as long as the law and CQC guidance require. After that we delete or anonymise them.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To use any of these rights, email info@cevero.co.uk. We will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
Cookies
We use cookies that are necessary for the website to work and stay secure, and cookies set by our live chat tool. We do not use advertising cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may then not work properly.
The CEVERO Care app
When a care provider uses the CEVERO Care app, that provider is the controller of the data about its clients and staff, and Cevero processes it on their behalf under a written data processing agreement. This policy covers our own website and enquiries; app customers receive separate terms.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page.
